Storytelling [[improv]] game: "Fortunately/Unfortunately"
- Gather the group in a circle.
- Explain that this is a storytelling game where each person will take turns building a story together, one sentence at a time.
- The first person starts the story with a sentence that begins with the word "fortunately."
- The next person continues the story with a sentence that begins with the word "unfortunately."
- Continue taking turns with each person alternating between "fortunately" and "unfortunately" sentences.
- The goal is to create a cohesive story, so each person should try to build on the previous sentences and keep the story moving forward.
- Some example sentences to start the game:
- Fortunately, the sun was shining bright in the sky.
- Unfortunately, the weather forecast predicted a thunderstorm.
- Fortunately, the family had just finished building a new shelter in their backyard.
